A Healthy Diet Plan - Balancing the Scale and Good Health
Following a healthy diet plan is the foundation of good health. Adele Davis - a guru on vitamins and minerals - said "we are indeed much more than we eat, but what we eat can nevertheless help us to be more than what we are." Meaning that a healthy body and mind is built through healthy eating habits.
There are 40 nutrients which cannot be made in the body, from them our bodies synthesize an estimated 10 000 different compounds essential to the maintenance of health. All 40 nutrients work together, therefore a lack of one might result in the underproduction of hundreds of these essential compounds
Three steps to a healthier you
1. a healthy diet
2. drink enough water to flush out the toxins and keep your body hydrated - at least 8 glasses per day
3. exercise to burn the calories that you eat - 30 min per day
